Amazing stay with plenty of activities and a renovated hotel. The spacious rooms were perfect for my family, and my 4-year-old had a blast at the children's playground and swimming pool. Free yoga and Thai boxing classes were a great bonus! The Thai cooking class was a delightful experience, and the restaurant offered a tasty variety of food. Convenient location near the night market and free transfers. I can't wait to come back! highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is located close to the beach, rooms are clean and spacious. Food at hotel's restaurants is rather good. The staff is always helpful and friendly.
The room decor is not very nice in my opinion. The beach is not as well-maintained as in the hotels nearby. WiFi in lobby did not work some of the time

We got a House right next to the beach, very nice
The beach is nice but, the water is not clear, i do not know why, but its a fact that other beaches do have clear water...a bit suspicious. Furthermore the hotel seems a bit run down.

Great location, stunning views, peaceful ambiance, variety of free activities, inclusive mini bar.
Nothing to dislike.

Basic enough hotel; big room and comfortable bathroom; good variable breakfasts; huge green territory of the hotel; king-size bed
there was not written anywhere that all the hotels at Bophut beach (I heard that at Maenam as well) has slimy bottom and turbid water as a result. it is not the fault of the hotel of course, but i think it is necessary to admit it.

The pool area round the royal wing was nice and breakfast staff was very service minded.
The pool area by the beach looks kind of run-downed and is in need of a renovation. The gym facility was under reconstruction and we got none information about this when we checked in. One of the pool(third picture) was not even active, just half full with water, full of dirt and leaves in it and the smell of chlorine around this pool was very intense. The staff at the reception acted very stressed though it only was us there checking in. Some more facilities in the complex is a bit run-downed and is in need of renovation. Mold in the ceiling in our bathroom. All of the pictures in the hotel description looks a lot nicer than it does in the reality.

For the price we paid, the value was unbeatable and the room was spotless and comfortable. The location was ideal, with a short walk to Fishermans Village and convenient shops nearby. The staff went above and beyond to assist us and even upgraded our room so we could stay close to our friends. The pools were fantastic and the beach was peaceful, free from any disruptive activities.
The only thing that could have improved the breakfast option was a wider variety of pastries.

Only stayed 1 night on our way to somewhere else but very happy with our choice. Nice staff, big room, very nice swimming pools. Ate at the restaurant a continental meal, we all enjoyed it.

Not recommended at all. People at the reception are not nice or helpful. Actually they laugh at turists (we notice several days) and do not talk even with respect. We tried to upgrade because rooms are not as they appear on pictures Sincerely, there are wall to wall two hotels (Ibis is one) who people recommended a lot and have nice restaurants (and cheaper!) and great facilities.

We had the most amazing time staying at Samui Palm Beach Resort - Sha Extra Plus. The location was perfect, right by the beach, and we enjoyed the peaceful and serene atmosphere. The resort had a variety of activities available, including yoga and Thai boxing, which we took full advantage of. The mini bar in our villa was also a pleasant surprise, with no extra charge. The breakfast spread was superb, providing us with plenty of options to start our day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Ana who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The food at the restaurant was the best we had in Thailand, and the beach bar with its happy hour added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Despite a minor inconvenience with a hard bed, we were still able to relax and enjoy our time. We also appreciated the effort made by the management to address the issue with the noisy rooms and construction. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved every moment of our stay here. The hotel had excellent facilities, including two great pools and clean, spacious rooms with large balconies. The breakfast was fantastic, and it was such a treat to have it right on the beach every morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to help us. The transportation services provided by the hotel were reliable and reasonably priced. And the location of the hotel was perfect, right on the beautiful beach and just a short walk from the charming Fisherman's Village.
There was nothing we didn't like.
